Admitted to Practice: Nebraska state courts & the U.S. District Court of Nebraska
Work History: Milo currently serves as Executive Director for Nebraska Appleseed Center for Law in the Public Interest.  Prior to this position, Milo was a staff attorney from 1988 to 1991 for the Texas Rural Legal Aid Farmworker Division.  He then moved back to Nebraska where he served as a staff attorney for Legal Aid Society of Omaha, Farm Desk from 1991 to 1992 and as Director for Nebraska Center for Legal Services from 1992 to 1995.

Andrea Collins

Administrator

 

Educational Background: Bachelor of Arts from West Texas A & M University, 1990
Work History: Andrea has worked in an administrative capacity for non-profit organizations since 1984.  In addition to serving as the Association Director for Nebraska Appleseed Center, Andrea has worked with Good Old Lower East Side in New York City, the Texas Rural Legal Aid in Plainview, Texas, and for ACLU Nebraska.

Danielle Nantkes

Admitted to Practice: Nebraska state courts & the U.S. District Court of Nebraska
Work History: As a law student, Danielle has served as President of the Equal Justice Society and of the Community Legal Education Program.  Danielle has also served as a campaign manager and field coordinator for a number of political campaigns.

Work History: Prior to working for Nebraska Appleseed, Jennifer worked as a litigation associate in the New York office of Sidley Austin Brown & Wood LLP. She began her legal career as a litigation associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, also in New York. In addition, Jennifer spent a year and a half as a law clerk for the Honorable Lawrence L. Piersol, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of South Dakota.

Jennifer Hernandez

Work History: Jennifer has been involved in human services and outreach since 1994. She has worked with social service agencies and grassroots efforts in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas, and comes to Nebraska Appleseed after working most recently with the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.

Work History: Prior to his employment with Nebraska Appleseed Center, Ed served as an Associate Pastor with St. Pius V in Chicago, Illinois and with Holy Rosary in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Ed also worked as a social worker for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.

Eric Wickizer

Educational Background: BS Business Management Bellevue University
Work History: Prior to coming to Nebraska Appleseed Center, Eric worked as a Lead Computer Repair Technician at Computer Concepts, Inc. in Grand Island, NE. Eric also worked as a Bacterin Production Technician with Schering-Plough Animal Health in Elkhorn, NE.
